Solar Power Scotland Group offers customers a unique bespoke solution to mounting solar panels (Photovoltaic or Thermal) for domestic consumers, commercial clients, social housing or recreational buildings. We at Solar Power Scotland will create a made to measure system to meet all your requirements from the smallest install through to industrial sites.

State of the art fabrication

At our 30,000sqft Centre of Excellence facility in Glasgow, we offer a state of the art fabrication and research and development service to all our domestic and commercial clients. We have over 40 years of experience in metal fabrication, electrical engineering combined with academic links to the University of Glasgow, Strathclyde University and the University of Sunderland.

Our in depth site survey, system design and return on investment proposal makes us unique in our field, system design is key and accounts for 80% of the project. Solar Tracking Mounting systems

Our groundbreaking Solar Tracking Mounting systems track the sun during the course of the day to ensure that sunlight capture is maximised. Our mounting system design’s are tested to destruction in wind tunnels, temperature ovens/freezers and thermal shock chambers to ensure that the mounting systems and panels will last for up to 25 years in any weather conditions. The design of the mounting frame also ensures that no damage will be done to structure in which the mounting frame is secured to.

Data Acquisition System (DAS)

We also offer a Data Acquisition System (DAS) which provides daily monitoring of the system together with a module that allows automatic calibration to occur daily to ensure that the mounting system adjusts accordingly to maintain peak performance. System performance can also be monitored on your laptop or mobile phone via a web based password protected interface so you can track, record and monitor the performance during the course of the system’s lifespan. If there is a technical issue with the equipment an alert will be sent to our technical control centre and a technical adviser will diagnose the issue and make arrangements for a technician to call to repair the system, we pride ourselves in finding faults before our customers do!
